Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and [COUNSEL: legal entity name] ("AlignIQ", "we") covering your use of aligniqgolf.com and the AlignIQ Golf product. By creating an account you accept them.

AlignIQ is a training platform for competitive golfers: structured round and practice logging, statistics including strokes gained, deterministic practice recommendations, and mental-game tools grounded in the framework of Dr. Raymond Prior.

The product is in active development (beta). Features may change, and we may add, modify, or remove functionality. We aim for continuity of your data above continuity of any feature.

Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account. Give us accurate information. One person per account. If you believe your account is compromised, reset your password (which signs out every device) and tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

You agree not to:

• Access or attempt to access another user's data outside the product's sharing features.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service except with our written permission.
• Scrape the service, resell access to it, or use it to build a competing dataset.
• Upload content you do not have the right to upload, or anything unlawful.

You own the data you put into AlignIQ: your rounds, notes, journal entries, photos, and everything else you enter. You grant us the license needed to store, process, back up, and display it to you and to those you share it with, in order to operate the service. That license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the backup aging-out window described in the Privacy Policy.

The drill library, the methodology content, the recommendation logic, and the software are ours or our licensors' and are protected by intellectual-property law. Mental-game content in the product is grounded in the framework of Dr. Raymond Prior and is provided for your personal training use, not for republication or commercial use outside the product.

AlignIQ's mental-game features are performance-training tools. They are not therapy, medical care, or psychological treatment, and they are not a substitute for any of those. If you are dealing with a mental-health concern, talk to a qualified professional.

Coach accounts exist to view data players share with them under the sharing model in the Privacy Policy. Your relationship with your coach (and anything your coach tells you to do) is between you and your coach; AlignIQ is not a party to it. Coaches must use player data only for coaching the players who shared it.

The product is currently free while in beta. If we introduce paid plans, we will give existing users clear notice and a choice before anything starts charging. [COUNSEL: refund and auto-renewal language when payments exist.]

You can leave at any time by deleting your account (self-serve, immediate). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; where reasonable we will warn first. If we discontinue the service we will give you notice and a window to export your data.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNSEL: state, likely Florida], excluding conflict-of-law rules. If we change these terms materially we will tell you in the product before the change takes effect.
